Crispo Confetti are made in Italy where it has been produced and perfected for centuries.
A 2.20 lbs box contains about 245 confetti.

Confetti offering (sugar coved almonds) is a tradition that goes back to the Roman Empire. It was used to celebrate weddings and births to bring luck and happiness. At that time, the almonds were covered with honey. Sugar replaced the honey, about four hundred years later, when it became available thru trades with the West Indies.
Since then, the confetti gain in popularity to celebrate various important events.
Traditionally, 5 confetti are offered for: fertility, heath, wealth, happiness, and longevity, and
- white confetti are offered for weddings,
- pink for a baby girl’s birth and blue for the boys,
- silver to celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary and gold for the 50th.
Confetti can be displayed on the wedding table in candy dishes or offered with a bomboniera or favor.
